FAQs about the new CopyLady Portal

Here, you will find the most common questions about our new online portal.

Good Day! Our last post introduced our new online payment portal.

This time, we will cover some questions you may have about it! A Q&A session, if you will. If you have a question on your mind, it is likely covered here.


Q: What is the CopyLady portal?
A: The CopyLady portal is an online utility for you to easily access and pay invoices, as well as manage payment methods and recurring payments.


Q: How much does it cost to use this portal?
A: The portal is provided to you at no extra cost whatsoever.


Q: I’m currently enrolled in automatic payments. Will I need to change anything?
A: Yes. You will need to re-establish recurring payments through the online portal. This process is amazingly easy, however.


Q: Do I have to set up automatic payments?
A: Not at all! If you want to make a one-time payment, you may do so.


Q: Will I still get invoices emailed to me?
A: Absolutely! Not only will the invoice be attached like usual, but you will also have a direct link to make a payment right in the email!


Q: Is there an additional charge for using a card?
A: Unlike our old system, which charged 4% on Credit & Debit Cards, The processor that is with this new system only charges a 3% processing fee on Credit Cards. There is NO processing fee on ACH and Debit Cards.


Q: Will I be able to access past invoices?
A: Yes! You will be able to access previous invoices, however you will only be able to access invoices that were created since the implementation of this portal. If you need an invoice from before that, you can call us at 239-939-5383 or email service@copylady.com.


Q: I prefer to mail a check each month. Can I still do that?
A: Yes. CopyLady will still accept physical checks.


Q: If I only make a one-time payment, is my payment information stored?
A: No. Payment information is not stored UNLESS you select the option to automatically pay invoices using the provided details.


Q: Is CopyLady able to see my saved payment method?
A: Not in it’s entirety. The only information we will be able to see is the last 4 digits of the account number. This is normal on any payment system.


Q: Can I remove a payment method from the portal?
A: Absolutely! Simply log in to the portal, then click on “Saved Payment Details”.


Q: Can I pay more than one invoice at a time?
A: Absolutely! Simply check the box next to each invoice you wish to pay (Or click the box at the very top of the list to check ALL of them), then click on “Batch Pay the selected invoices”. You will then get the payment screen where you can enter your details. The payment amount will be the total of all selected invoices.


Q: Can I still submit payments over the phone?
A: You can, but the portal would be a better method. Payments done via the phone are sent through our existing processor, which incurs the 4% Processing fees if Debit/Credit is used. Plus, the portal is so much easier and faster!


Q: Is the online portal safe to use?
A: Absolutely! Our online portal uses the same security and encryption measures as any online banking service!


Q: Where will my invoices be emailed from?
A: Invoices will come from ar@copylady.com. You can also respond to this email if you have questions.


Q: If I use a card for automatic payments, will I get a notification if my card is expired?
A: Yes! You will receive an email alerting you to the upcoming expiration of your card, allowing you to update it to avoid a lapse in payments!


Q: What cards are accepted?
A: All major credit & debit cards are accepted on the portal (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, etc)


Q: Will I still receive invoices if I am on autopay?
A: Yes. Invoices will still be emailed to you even if you have set up automatic payments.
